Arrival, assistance, and transfer to the hotel. If time permits, we will add a panoramic tour on the way to the hotel. Check in, rest or stroll the neighborhood, dinner and overnight.

Excursion to Valletta and Mdina. After breakfast, we will depart for Valletta. Visit St. Paul's Shipwreck Church, which commemorates the Apostle's miraculous arrival in Malta in 60 AD. Inside, impressive works of art adorn its rich decoration. We will continue our visit to St. John's Co-Cathedral, one of Malta's most treasured monuments. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Malta Experience, an engaging audiovisual show that brings to life over 7,000 years of Maltese history. Depart for Rabat, where we will visit St. Paul's Grotto and the Wignacourt Museum. St. Paul's Grotto in Rabat is believed to be the place where the Apostle Paul stayed and preached during his three-month stay in Malta after his shipwreck. The site is part of the Wignacourt Museum complex and is an important pilgrimage site. To end the day, we'll take a walking tour of Mdina, known as the "Silent City," Malta's former fortified capital. Its narrow streets and majestic medieval architecture create a timeless atmosphere. Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel.

Early morning transfer to the ferry port. Arrive Pozzallo & transfer to Catania in Sicily.

Catania, located on the eastern coast at the foot of Mount Etna. Upon arrival, join a guided tour of the city’s historical center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include Piazza Duomo, the Cathedral of Saint Agatha, the Elephant Fountain, and Via Etnea, the city's lively main street. Your guide will share insights into the city’s history, shaped by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and diverse cultures.

Transfer to Hotel for check in, dinner and overnight in Catania.

Mount Etna & Taormina .After breakfast, depart for an exciting day trip to Mount Etna, the active volcano. We'll leave from Piano Provenzana, on Etna's northern slope, in state-of-the-art 4x4 vehicles certified by the Etna National Park Authority. The summit hike, led by mountain guides or licensed volcanologists, begins at an altitude of 1,800 meters (Piano Provenzana) and continues along the scenic road. Passing by ancient craters and recent lava flows, we'll reach the Volcanological Observatory, located at an altitude of 2,850 meters.

In the afternoon, we'll travel to Taormina for a guided tour of this stunning town, perched on a mountainside with panoramic views of the Ionian Sea. We'll visit the famous Greek Theatre of Taormina. Return to Catania in the evening. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay in Catania.

Syracuse   After breakfast depart early for Syracuse. Visit the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, home to impressive ancient ruins such as the Greek Theatre, the Ear of Dionysius, and the Roman Amphitheatre.  Explore the historical canter of Ortigia Island, with its narrow streets, baroque architecture, and the beautiful Duomo di Siracusa, the church of St Paul  and the catacombs of St John. Then, continuation to Noto, known for its stunning baroque architecture. Visit the Noto Cathedral, a beautiful example of Sicilian Baroque design.  Return to Catania. Dinner and Overnight in Catania.

Catania - Rome Transfer to Catania Airport for your departure for Rome. Arrival in Rome and assistance upon arrival. Transfer from airport to the hotel. Then departure for a half  day guided tour with an experienced guide. Piazza Repubblica, the Aurelian Walls, Spanish steps, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Trevi fountain   We meet for dinner. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.

Rome After breakfast begin a full day guided tour of Vatican area and Trastevere with an expert local guide. We'll begin with a visit St. Peter's Basilica and the treasures of the Vatican Museums. Free time for lunch. Afternoon guided tour of the most characteristic districts of Rome including Trastevere and the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere. We continue to visit the Jewish Ghetto. Dinner in local restaurant and overnight.

Rome After breakfast begin a half day guided tour with a licensed guide. The tour starts from the meeting point and continues with the visit to the famous Colosseum, It has been immortalized over the centuries as the scene of wild and ferocious games between man and beasts’ gladiators vs animals & gladiators vs gladiators as well represented in the movie Gladiator. Close to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, considered the real political – commercial – social –religious center of Rome at the time of the Monarchy and the Republican period. At the center of the Forum, even after 20 centuries, it is possible to walk on the same cobble-stones of the “Via Sacra” (Sacred Way) leading to the Capitol Hill and admiring the remaining of with its ancient basilicas, triumphal arches, honorary columns, ancient markets. Reaching Venice Square you will have the chance to admire the imposing monumental complex, inaugurated in 1911, dedicated to King of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II. Lunch on own.   In the afternoon visit to St Mary Major Basilica - one of the four major papal basilicas in Rome and the largest church dedicated to the Virgin Mary, traditionally linked to the miraculous snowfall of 358 AD that inspired its foundation. The breathtaking 5th-century interior, remarkably preserved. Look up at the stunning coffered ceiling, gilded with the first gold brought from the Americas—an artistic treasure commissioned by Pope Alexander VI. The extraordinary mosaics that line the triumphal arch and the nave, dating back to the early Christian period, these works depict scenes from the life of Christ and the Virgin Mary, offering a vivid window into the theology and artistic style of late antiquity.  You proceed to the Confessio, beneath the high altar, where the relics of the Holy Crib—wood traditionally believed to come from the manger of Jesus—are preserved.
