MEXICO, PUEBLA & TAXCO
Arrival at Mexico City airport. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation and dinner.
After breakfast, we will depart for a full day of sightseeing. We will visit the Plaza of the Three Cultures and the Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe. There, we will have a guided tour and then attend the celebration of the Eucharist. After our visit to the Shrine, we will transfer to the archaeological site of Teotihuacán, with its famous Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. We will return to our hotel for an overnight stay and dinner. Optional suggestion: Attend a performance by the Ballet Folklórico de México.
A brief walk through the historic center, including the National Palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral. We will celebrate the Eucharist in San Miguel del Milagro, the place where Saint Michael appeared to Diego Lázaro in 1631. We will then depart for Ocotlán, the site of the burning pine tree and the apparition of Our Lady of Ocotlán. Depart for Puebla. Arrival at our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
During the morning, we will celebrate the Eucharist at the Chapel of the Rosary. We will then take a panoramic tour of Puebla. After lunch (not included), we will depart via Santa María Tonansintla and Cholula, returning to Mexico City. We will arrive late at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
We will celebrate the Eucharist in Los Remedios. We will visit the residential areas of Lomas and Chapultepec. We will visit the world-famous Archaeology Museum and return to the Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe. We will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
and then continue to the colonial city of Taxco. We will visit the ancient Church of Santa Prisca and the city center. Taxco is a world center for silver, where you can find beautiful silversmithing. Dinner and overnight stay.
